This new digital magazine needed to hold subscribers’ attention and bring them back to visit the magazine’s website frequently.
A weekly email campaign was developed to package several tidbits of that week’s best new content, in the format of an inspiring newsletter, and send it to those who had subscribed either at the magazine’s launch event, from an email forwarded by a friend, or through the website itself.
In just two months of weekly mailings, the size of the subscriber list increased by 280%, and has delivered an open rate of 27.8% (against an industry average of 16.3%), and a click-through rate of 6.7% (against an industry average of 2.1%).
